This is the first time i've cast pine cones - I should have put more colour in the resin but it's not to bad

Macaronytony summed it up aliens in a jar...love it...i love the colour and translucency in that. I think it works well and looks great...maybe try more colour in the next one, but for me thats a cracker:drool:

A very good first attempt Tony, you made the same mistake as i did on my first go, and second and third .. :whistling: I did learn that if the resin does look as though more colour should be added when looking at the mixing stick you should add more colour .. I went with how it looked in the mixing cup .. :winking:

Thanks for the tip Jim i will certainly take it on board for my next atempt - i will also be using smaller pine cones
