Hi, Brody?
Welcome to the forum. Are you a late worker or a non-sleeper? That is a very nice pen. The copper is very fine and hardly noticeable in the photo but it looks very well made and a lovely finish.

Thanks. I'm a non-sleeper :-/ Got to do some work on resizing my pics, the copper does look better than this in the flesh, so to speak.
Early days though eh :)
Thanks for your comment and welcome!

Hi and welcome Brody. I can see the subtlety of the copper and the possibilities are endless. Good idea my friend and I like the pen.

That is a nice bit of segmenting Brody, maybe a lighter wood would help to show off the copper better? Welcome to the forums my friend ..

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I've been turning for around 3 years and have tried my hand at anything i can. I also make industrial furniture, all purely as a hobby, it keeps me sane, sort of :D Looking forward to being part of the nut house
Thanks all again

It certainly is a nut house Brody... One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest looks like a Mensa institute after being on here for a while. My lobotomy is to go ahead soon. Some (a lot) of photo's of what you make would be very interesting.
