I recently began experimenting with what I thought was an original idea. Turns out it wasn't original or even new but I am ok with that. My first lamination was with 2 pieces of veneer. I liked the way it turned out and thought if 2 is good than 4 would be better. Then I wondered what a multiple inlay pattern would look like. These 2 aren't the first pens made with these blanks but represent the look I am going for. There are so many variables to making these that the designs are infinite. I enjoy the reaction and look on peoples face as they try to figure out how these were done.

The process isn't hard but it is labor intensive. I will post a tutorial at a later date.

Cherry Cigar with Bloodwood veneer. Graduate magnetic with Bloodwood/Maple veneer.
