Hello well it's been a good school weekend First pen snagged and shattered so I had to start again. Oak Bur I think?

anyway finish is oil and wax that's it no CA no polish just the beall polish mops, I would love to know what you all think please feel free to C&C, welcome

To me it looks a little overturned on the front section, it may just be the pic or you did go below the bushing
Always try to keep your first, because in time you can look back and see how you evolve

James it is a nice pen. I agree the front looks a little too thin. One thing I have learned is measure your bushes against the kit. They may claim to be the correct bushes for the kit but in my experience that cannot be relied on. Check with callipers and adjust accordingly when you turn. Guess how I know that?
I suspect that even if there was reasonable quality control when bushes or kits were made ( and that might be a big if) the confusion between true imperial measurements and metric ’ equivalents’ can lead to differences that can be seen. Have fun.

I may turn a white oak this weekend depends on my health as I've have three days in hospital with a bad chest infection but on the mend now
