Hi All,

This is a pattern I found by Grampa on Scroll saw village forum

Wood is Cedar of Lebanon. I planed it down to 6mm. The smell from this wood is amazing.

I used a Olsen 2/0 blade for the pattern changing to a No5 for the fishing line.

It is a great pattern but I managed to mess it up. :guessed:

That must have made you mad. Can you fill it in with something and recut it?

Hi Mark, Good idea on the filling.

I was thinking of filling it with resin. The part of the pattern next to the knot just doesn't look good. So I am thinking of cutting the whole area out and replacing with a new bit of cedar and then recutting. I might replace the bit of pattern to the right of the ripples with some bullrush or some sort of plant.

Ice fisherman, or Eskimo fisherman.

OK I'll get me coat.

Always a shame when things happen sometimes in our favour and sometimes in favour of the Woodburner not that you need that at this time of year
