Fountain pen and mechanical pencil

Two of my favorite woods.Stabilized black ash burl for the FP and olive wood for the MP.
The platings are rhodium and bright copper.
MM up to 12000 and carnauba wax buffing for both.
The olive wood has a layer of walnut oil before the wax.

Mav I agree with you Black Ash can be stunning as your pen proves the copper kit on the Olive makes a statement with knocking back of the gloss topping the Fountain using the same timber you seem to do alot with total effect mate.
