I have one, and am hopeful to contribute to information about them...and gain some info too. I'm about to refurbish mine.

Well, the first challenge was to free up all threads on the machine and all accessories. Three are still winning.

In an attempt to avoid/minimise corrosion I'll be plating the vast majority of steel with nickel. Cobalt nickel actually, for greater wear resistance.

Spot the 2 shiny knurled nuts in the main picture below. They not only look good, but are nice to the touch, and operate smoothly.
