Well, the first challenge was to free up all threads on the machine and all accessories. Three are still winning.

In an attempt to avoid/minimise corrosion I'll be plating the vast majority of steel with nickel. Cobalt nickel actually, for greater wear resistance.

Spot the 2 shiny knurled nuts in the main picture below. They not only look good, but are nice to the touch, and operate smoothly.
