Just bought locally this set (drills through files,glass, tool steel etc). This is the Metric Set they have individual drills and Metric sets and singles. They are ideal in tiled areas drill clean as a whistle,no cracks.

I’ve used Glass drills to open up holes in hardened steel to good effect. They are quite cheap to buy on eBay. To date I think I’ve only drilled one hole for their intended purpose, in a tile. Handy to have in the workshop.

My home,workshop in part is full brick, machines often anchored to the concrete floor, guess I call these drills essential equipment. I am about to work on fossil stone molar blanks.As an old sparky we used to do this with steel hand held and a hammer, luxury stuff now with quality bits.
