That's what Ali says!

A huge thank you to my good friend Geordie B (George Burdon)
Knowing that I can't do any heavy work at the moment, he offered his help with the new workshop. He came over today and fitted the insulation and built the internal walls, a full days work and nowhere as simple as it sounds!
I now have the relatively lighter job of sorting out the trim. This is something I can do in "bite size" pieces, in line with my recovery program, but again he said to drop him a line if I find it hard going.

What a star you are Geordie boy, and thanks again from Ali and I.

Well done Geordie what a great guy. And if it is anything like it is down this end not a day to be in a shed, 30 degrees in the house.

What a heartening deed George wonderful gesture mate so happy for you Neil and such a help for Ali.

Through my recovery I was able to reciprocate with Wilma for all the love and care we gave each other for the several months of uncertainty. These days when we are scheduled clinics with top gun specialists those hanging around waiting hours get very wearing, boring as blases.

Like the sound of insulation everywhere a workshop in particular. Looking for progress pics now. Good wishes .............Peter.

George is a cracking lad, well done mate but nothing surprising from such a kind hearted genuine guy. Bet you didn't enjoy the supervising bit much Neil, you must have been itching to get stuck in. Did Ali tie you into your chair?

Could have done with roofer Geordie helping me yesterday, spent the day on ladders and the roof mortaring up the verges, managed to fall off a ladder as well, stupid sod, no damage done but got a right earbending off the missus.:goesred: Worst part was her saying I was too bloody old to be on the roof - what a cheek! :vangry:

Can't halt the "gettin old" bit Bill but I'll be damned if I'll do it gracefully  I am sporting a few colourful bruises from the other day though!
