Nice work, Glen! I've never worked out, how if it's dark, you were ever gonna be able to write anyway, LOL!

Nicely done Glen so pleased your happy with your new tools do the pens just glow in the dark or are they the ones you have to hold up to a light first to charge them with light then they will glow I only ask because I got some once that didn't glow and when I complained I was told you have to hold them up to a light bulb to charge them and seeing as I made them for 6 year old kids they were a big flop

I had 6 different colours given to me by my son for a present. He runs his own Glow in the Dark business and he imports from all round the world, I will find out more details for you and let you know.

The pen blanks came from America ( mywoodencreations ) if you go on ebay and put in glow in the dark pen blanks you will see them.
They are not cheap from £4.50 to £7.00 the postage is about £6.50 I have an open mind on these but I am experimenting in making my own blanks.
As woody says in one of the threads they have to be charged up, I believe there is no other way as the crystals used need this light. On the write up on mywoodencreations it says 10min and they will light for a few hours ??????????? yet to prove this.
Are they worth it I don't know at this stage, quite enjoying the challenge and the experimenting, any way they didn't cost me anything

I bought a load of luminous powders from ebay and mixed with resin if the pen is in open light it will be charged and will glow for a while once it's dark. I bought my Grandaughter some luminous polymer clay so she is going to make a pen blank with some of it, it works the same way if it is charged it will glow.
