Goblet?

Spalted Oak Goblet. This was going to be the Wassail Bowl that I turned in Yew before. But it turned out that it was going to be too small. So I thought I'd turn it into a goblet instead. Although on reflection it looks a bit more like a football trophy!!!! This piece of Oak was part of a load kindly given to me by Paul Middleton

That's a beautiful piece of timber and turning Steve. I love the form and how the goblet highlights the spalting. :bravo:

As you say in turning it is small but some fluids are more precious than others making your Goblet just the right size I am sure it hold more than one shot., sturdy and unusual mate.
