The wood and the turning look good Steve but I am not sure on the finish of the CA but saying that it could be the lighting !!

The pen itself looks really good but I agree with the others that the finish is not perfik but there again it might by the light on the picture.

It looks like you are looking down on the pen from above with your camera. Try taking a picture from a lower level ie just above eye level !!!
