A matching pair of omegas. I found the wood in a package when doing some work in one of the sheds. I think it was from Lignaterra who's a member here. It just had syc written on it so I'm assuming it's sycamore burr. Wish I had more of it the photos don't do it justice

Indeed great pens Keith the underside of the nib detracts a little in the pic. There is so much activity in the grain as you say worth seeking more of the same.
