Gold Sedona in spalted apple 3..JPG

Hi, Guys,

Managed uploading this pen at last! Having been inspired by Ed's earlier posing of a Jnr Gents in apple I thought I'd use my last Sedona kit using a similar wood - well pleased that I did!

Lovely, Bob. Although I haven't seen a single one of those blanks Woody sent out produce anything else yet ... Oh FRRRRRRRAAANKIE! You know those spalted apple blanks I sent you? Can I have 'em back?

:lmao:

You know - Woody has really done us no favours by sending out those blanks - when they're gone we'll spend the rest of our lives trying to find something else even half as gorgeous ...

Many thanks again for your comments. And yes, the apple Woody gave us is really good for producing this sort of pen!

And talking of that Woody geezer...his acidic comments re my time on the Underground all stem back to when he was caught fiddling his fare. He would leave home every day wearing short trousers, a school cap and long woollen socks. When he got to the station he'd put on a toothy grin and buy a child's return ticket! Yep, I'll tell yuh, this old tart don't mess about! Now, he did this fiddle for months and was only caught after other passengers on the train complained about an old cretin stripping down to his underpants, removing his school uniform and then dressing in a pair of overalls and a long greasy raincoat. So, he was arrested and charged, not only for fare evasion but for other more serious crimes involving school boys and dirty macs. After spending three years in Pentonville, he realised he needed to do something with his wasted life - and became a woodworker. (Gotcher, Woody - it don't pay to cross bluntchisel!)
