I was given a large lump of goldfield burr which had a cut right across one side and it was full of voids right the way through so I have cut some of it up as pen blanks and filled the voids with brass dust & super glue I hope you enjoy because I most definitely did finished with friction polish and woodturners stick

Woody,

Goldfields Burl classification is like Eucalyptus Burl as a definition in Tasmania it could encompass one of 800 plus species of Eucalypt.

I like your pen nevertheless undefined for what it is a beaut neat pen. The brass fills in nicely the gaps. One day life willing I will send you a few solid burl blanks.

Kind regards Peter.
