Good light Fountain Pen kit

This may be relative to hand size but I am looking for advice on a good light fountain pen kit with the emphasis on light. I have a few people that would like a quality fountain pen but they have found previously that kit fountain pens tend to also be heavy.

Any idea's? How heavy is the Alpha from TM?
