The Aldi website I am looking at says "Also available in store" just below the add to basket button.

Gorilla Glue - ALDI UK

Just ordered some on line Walter. It just goes to show how I don't read stuff properly as I never noticed the bit about available in store. My nearest Aldi store is only 800 yards away :sob:. Never mind it was Free Postage !

I found with titebond PU glue it is better to store the glue upside down as it forms a skin on top once opened and you have to break the skin, so if it is upside down the skin is always at the bottom. Of course Gorilla Glue may be different, but I am still going to store it upside down once opened.

When I use Gorilla Glue I never squeeze it out through the top but open the lid and use a small skewer to apply the glue to the blank and to the abraded brass tube. Cutting a slice of potato, cutting a plug wiping the brass with tissue, then using another skewer to push out the potato plug. Quick clean then I always contrary to Phils advice stretch a rubber band around the length (I had the odd one pop the tube out a bit the glue expanded (Phil says if you follow his instructions this will not happen. I use more glue than Phil with some of the angry timber I use I like to be sure.

Peter.

Apparently I do as I have just spent five minutes figuring out how to edit your post to add in the missing bit of the quote. Too complicated to explain but now your post makes sense.

Back into the workshop now to make some more shavings, dust and firewood.
