Hi all, just thought I'd share my grandson Dan (13) with the first pen he's ever made, a Gold Streamline with a Cherry coat on with a CA finish. Not a bad effort for a first time, even though I am a little bit biased!

It's a great feeling when your grandchildren take an interest in what you do.
Great looking pen keep it going you'll get the bug.

Dave your Grandson has made a smashing job of his first pen. Ain't it great when the grandkids get involved in something that you enjoy.

It's one of those proud moments that a grandad has is when they make there first pen.

Then comes the second, third and then comes the "can I make one for my schools friend" never ending mate..

Looks really good and can see that he will be teaching grandad a thing or two in a few years time..
