I had the pleasure of going over to Frederick's place to collect the vacuum pump and was made most welcome with a cuppa first thing on the agenda and a tour of his very spacious workshop, it made mine look like a broom cupboard. As always talk started with woodturning and ended with woodturning with woodturning being discussed in between well what else do you expect. I also came away with two fantastic looking blanks that he had produced all I need to do now is produce something to show them off to there best.
Thank you Frederick for being made to feel so welcome.

This is something that I find about the woodturning crowd and that is how friendly they all are.

Believe me Derek, it was a pleasure and thank you for all the information, advice and help you gave me; especially with the camera.
Hopefully future pictures will be better. Hope the pump works out OK and turns out to be of some use.

And thanks for the bowl blanks and bits as well. I will post the results.

Cheers
Frederick

Quite a mutual admiration going on between you both, really happy for you I have retired from giving advice on picture taking for pens the feed back is zero.

Two things I do advocate is visits to Wood Groups and Individuals, the lure of the Vac Pump ,exchanges of Ideas and timber prove of benefit to you both.

Peter.
