Seeing Mattys Laminated slimline pen that he posted a few days ago with his fountain pens. I knew I had a couple of the blanks hidden away somewhere.

Found it

So I turned it...

What a little tinker to photo though..:goesred: tried different backgrounds and ended up with the black one.. me thinks it still doesn't look right..:sob:

I`d like to see that in the flesh, looks very nice

I like these laminated blanks must have a go at making a few.

These coloured kits are liked by school kids, i made one in blue that i had lying round the shed for ages as it was part of a package from ebay along with another colour (Don't recall the colour but its on here somewhere) i gave it to my Grandson who is 13, he came back asking me to make another six, i made him the other i had ... :bwink:

Nothing wrong with the pen other than the picture not showing the quality of the timber ..

TBH it doesn't really do it for for me, it's the cheap end kits that as Jim says the school kids love em, my grandson has had a blue one and now wants a few others for his his friends.. :rolling:
