I turned this pen from Cocobolo for a good friend the aluminium inlay representing the Christmas star, thankfully she was very happy with it.

Even with the light tent I couldn't eradicate completely the shadow from the star which makes it look like there's a break in the aluminium, which there isn't :thinks:

One of my favorite woods....a bugger to finish well...but a lovely job there...really nice:thumbs:
