One from today a Gunmetal Tempest Dressed in Redwood Burr the blank came from Rocky Bemis over in Redding California.

The redwood is so soft its the first time I have ever thought you can have your tools too sharp pen has a melamine finish with microcrystalline top coat.

I've decided already i've got to get into stabilising Brad, I have loads of wood / blanks that would benefit from the process, so hope to make a start on this next month

Redwood provides huge quantities if blanks Rockey has sent youa nice one and yes soft as it is good idea to stabilise this timber.
