They look quite nice:thumbs:you need to use the same thickness inlay as the saw blade kerf so that the lines meet up.

As a prospective buyer receiver no one would fault or criticise that work Woody they would be thrilled to own it I found your criss crossing beautiful people who make pens dont buy pens as a rule hand the pen to a stranger say nowt and prove me. Getting to reason one piece pens are the go to for ease and productivity, economy. Looking at a telephoto pic of a crossover on a freeway etc roads merge with incredible natural patterns. Your pen is quite enlarged from the real size not everyone has the courage.

Well done Woody. Now do like me, buy 100 clamps and make them 25 at a time. You won't like the results using a band saw.

Thanks Terry it was just a thought si It will be a new fretsaw in the new year about the clamps I did have loads from 6" to 6ft and but was told I had to give up woodwork a few years ago so I sold up had an op and was told I cold carry on so it has been quite an expensive time so its cope with the few I have but I mostly only make pens now for fun and my wood collection
