The other evening sitting in our BBQ area the dogs started to bark and carry on, I thought it was the mongrel natives, then the missus saw this gentleman coming out of our fish pond, who then disappeared under the fence. I promptly run out side the yard
barefooted to get a couple pics to show you mob.
Mulga Snake also called King Brown Snake.

“King browns are not that venomous, but what they lack in toxicity they make up for in volume of venom,” said Tim Faulkner, General Manager at the Australian Reptile Park.

The mulga is the heaviest venomous snake in Australia and has the largest-recorded venom output of any in the world – delivering 150mg in one bite; the average tiger snake only produces 10-40mg when milked.

From what I understand they would rather try to get away than attack unless provoked

Saw this one in Darwin, I wanted to bring him home but the missus said no.
This one is a Water Python.
