Alex had a question re Holm Oak today I realize why Hairy Oak not related to Oak by the way looks like Holm Oak. A few pics of Hairy Oak so as not to clutter up Alexes post. To illustrate the difference when cross cut one old pic of a pen with grain on the bottom cross and top straight.
