Hi Pierre, it's a burnishing tool for getting nice slicked edges on leatherwork. The tool is usually made of wood but glass and other materials can be used. I've been asking him for years to make me some nice hardwood ones as I only have the cheepo ones.

Here's what the tools look like plus a pic of my nice burnished edges :thumbs:

I make those they are called garden dibbers, sell well for 10€ each
