Any one had any experience of the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra 2 air brush if so what is it like for performance. Can it be used for a good coverage as well as fine detail.
I am looking at this one to decorate some of the turnings

They are pricey you must be getting serious now.:thinks:

That is the only problem like many tools you have the cheap ones and quite often they jump to expensive with very little or even nothing in the middle. I looked at upgrading my scroll saw and found that the next ones are in the lower £400 area with nothing inbetween

Thank you Peter it does look a good one even if it is the cheaper of their range

Lots of airbrush reviews here:

Don's Airbrush Tips

I can't remember but I think Badger get the best all round reviews at a price most can afford. As Don says buying an expensive airbrush won't make you any better but it's your money.

Thank you William I will look at the badger range as well he has done some good reviews. I agree about not making me any better but you still need to have good equipment as sometimes cheap equipment can lead to frustration.

I've have the Ultra airbrush and have found it to be extremely good. Yes its a bit more expensive but it certainly does the job. What I liked about it is you can get different size needles for fine detail work or area coverage work. It also dismantles very easily and can be quickly cleaned.

Thank you for that the one I am looking at comes with two needle set ups so should cover most things that I want

I've buyed this one, was in promo by Lidl, not tested it yet, i can't say if it works well for intensive use :thinks:

Thank you Clement I have one similar to that airbrush but a different compressor I want to have different brushes for different jobs some need a very fine line to be airbrushed so thought about time to get a half decent one for this work but still can be used to do a slightly larger area.
