Heads up with Axmister - a warning

Evening all,

Just made an interesting discovery. Axminster are running a Black Friday sale - yeh great. They also invited customers to apply for a Trade Account which entitles them to discounts on some items. Hey - great.

The bug is that if you have a trade account you can't buy stuff in the Black Friday sale! Hey - great!

Brilliant marketing ploy - get all the frequent flyers to take up a trade account and stop them from buying stuff at a discount.

My order this evening was going to be for around £700.

It is nothing now.

I don't do Black Friday in my opinion its a con.
If I want anything from Axminster I drive to there North Shields Store and buy it over the counter. Its an hours drive but coming back I drive down the Coast road stunning views and lots of places to stop and sight see and eat.

You would think so, it was named after people leaving the cities in America en masse on thanks giving day to get to the holiday retreats. Apparently there was so much traffic with massive jams that it caused large smog clouds, as a way of reducing the amount of people all leaving at the same time loss leading sales were introduced to keep people in the cities and it was named "Black Friday" after the smog. It's either that or it's something racist

Well now, here's the thing.
Axminster just sent me an email saying sorry - got it wrong and here's the discount.
Result.

That mob sounds like a lot of fleabay sellers, there is no mail delivery here, when the sellers will not post to P.O. boxes we have to put P.O. box No/ street address.
