Hi,

I've just started out on the journey of pen turning and no doubt will ask many questions (some probably daft!) in the near future. So far I've made a handful of pens in both wood and acrylic with quite pleasing results .... so far.

Hi Chris - welcome aboard. Please don't be afraid to ask "daft" questions - absolutely everyone here had to start from the beginning at some point. You may get some daft answers though too I'm afraid, but that is more to do with some people forgetting to take their medication more than anything else.:whistling:

Hi Chris, Welcome to the Forum. Phil is right when he says there are no daft questions. Be aware of some of the daft answers you may get though

Thanks all for the warm welcome. I'll post some photos once I've made sufficient posts. The first few were finished with friction polish but I've now progressed to sticking my fingers together with CA!

Mark - if only it I was in sunny Australia, sadly a grey and damp UK

Thanks. This is my favourite I've made so far - I really like the look of the Snakewood.
