Hello, new here. I'm not a pen turner, but I'm a fountain pen addict.

Someone pointed me to this forum when I was asking for UK based turners, regarding a commission for a pen and all things fountain pen in general.

Any one of the pen turners on here can and will make you a fountain depends whether you want a particular pen kit or a kitless pen. Kitless pens are more expensive than kits.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

To avoid spamming and posting at the wrong place, where should I raise this? I'd be looking for a UK based turner, since I got some parts already that need fitted in a new body, so ideally I'd post them across.

So what are the parts.
It's an Osprey Scholar that has issues with the cap, so I thought of getting a new body and cap made, that fit the nib housing unit. It holds a zebra g nib, so the cap needs a tad more room to accommodate the extra length PXL_20250327_094112930.jpgPXL_20250327_094143591.jpgPXL_20250327_094053084.jpg

The zebra g nib, is a caligraphy nib they are not expensive about £3.00 to buy I think. The nib could be fitted into any decent fountain pen.
Toms Studio sells the nibs.
Your pen looks like it might be made from Ebonite.

If you really want to re create the pen using that nib I would suggest you contact Rockster Pens. Check out his web site.

Thanks, I'll check their website.

I had the pen imported from the USA and could buy another one, but I'm simply not impressed by their quality, so I wanted to repurpose the zebra g housing into a new pen.

And fitting a zebra g in any other pen is a struggle, tried that, unless the housing is designed for an Ebonite feed and zebra g. Tom's pens use plastic feeds, at least when I checked with them a few months ago.
