Help casting stamps and labels please

I'm relatively new to casting and now want to cast some stamps or labels on the tube. Can anyone help me with the best way to stick the stamps to the tube without getting glue on the face of the stamps or labels. My first attempts have been spoiled because of this. I've been using diluted Mod Podge.

I either saw it on tube or read in a book. But the person got sticky waterproof labels
And I think put the photo onto the sticky label by putting face down and then rolled the bronze
Barrel along it finishing with it being stuck to the tube...... Then blanked the ends before putting into
Acrylic or resin.....
