Me again for some reason I have decided I want to make a honey dibber thingy ma bober..
Couple questions..
1 any wood better than the next
2 how do I finish. . Walnut oil? Olive oil? Melamine lacquer?

I use beech for mine and finish with Chestnut food safe oil

Olive wood is also popular Graeme but ash oak walnut could also be used

I use a desert spoon but it dispenses so badly I must make a dipper then comes the conundrum how to store the dipper quite the worst experience honey on the handle of the jar or the honey holder.

I but 15 kg a yr for my use SWMBO has a sugar problem.
