Yesterday when our daughter arrived with my new blanks from the USA I am in the similar situation but here it is because it is so cold and my workshop is so large to divide and conquer now would be tough work for me. The family police do not tolerate when I go on the roof or even up a ladder these days. Our one daughter here is in touch all the time and my strong man son in law is unable hardly to walk for 18 mths. He manages a firm that sells electronics etc was knelt behind the counter when an assistant tripped and fell on him and wrecked one leg,the foot requires direct injections a fearful physio. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and most of 20 stone in weight. They have upstair bedrooms etc where in my wisdom I never would realising growing very old as I have the stairs would add another serious burden. How is it in the UK when people age in relation to using stairs?
Peter.
