I sand mine the same as acrylic pens then apply CA as the centre of antler can be porous this helps to seal it

Cant spin it got to do by hand

The Wren I showed recently, was finished in Polyurethane varnish. first coat thinned down as you would normally do.
Thinned sanding sealer as a base coat, and spray Melamine lacquer also work well, if you are after a gloss finish.
