So I posted this in an old thread but then saw I should have really posted it in here! This is a third attempt at a herringbone pen, and has been completed with a lot of help and support from members of the forum - thanks guys!!!

That's a nice pen & good job for your third attempt Alan. It's a big learning curve & I have some advice which might help you further along the curve if you want. Jet me know what your finish is.:thumbs:

Interesting point - I normally do a CA finish, and haven't really experimented with anything else, although I saw that beautiful segmented fountain pen was finished with rustins plastic coating - what's that all about? Not heard of that one before, any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome
