Hello,

My name is David and I stumbled upon this website while doing some searching for pen making information.
Hopefully you folks don't mind an American joining the site! If it helps, my family is mainly English, Irish and Scottish.

I am relatively new to the hobby, I have only been turning pens for less than a full year, but have come to thoroughly enjoy it.
I am from the Detroit area of Michigan but don't let the city's reputation fool you - it's a great place to live.
I am looking forward to learning more about this strangely addictive hobby.

Welcome David.
As the guys before have said ask away, also have a look at the Tutorials.
Friendly bunch on here and quite a few pen blank makers.
Enjoy your hobby.

Hmm English, Irish and Scottish that sounds like most Americans..... there are a few with German ancestry but they lost the vote!!

Welcome from sunny southern central France . Have fun and enjoy the banter.

Welcome David.

If your answer is not here....then there ain't one. There is a wealth of experience here and everyone is pleased to help
There're a good crowd. It's also a "tongue in cheek" and the class of banter is high.

Enjoy...

Cheers
Frederick
