Hi there and thankyou for allowing me to join the forum.
I am pretty new to pen making but not new to spinning a lathe.
I make traditional fishing floats and other items of tackle.
I recently purchased the Axminster Pen Lathe for my floatmaking and it came witha mandrel etc so i thought i would give them a go,,,,turn out I really enjoy doing them.
I hope to gain some experience, hence joining the forum.
Thankyou,

Pinkster

Hi and welcome from the sunny S of France (sunny for the moment that is) you don't just have to make pens on this forum, I, for one, would be interested in seeing some of your floats having France 5th longest river at the bottom of my garden complete with Huge 'silure' and other carnivores.:thumbs:

Hello Graeme. Welcome from the USA. This pen turning thing is a horrible, time consuming addictive habit. It's easy to fall down the rabbit hole.:ciggrin::ciggrin:
