Holt's Simoniz acrylic lacquer

Has anyone used this and if so is it any good ? Or which do you recommend ?

Not used that brand myself, but Simoniz is a good automotive paint brand

I use it and it is very good and I also use there black & white paint I would recommend using sanding sealer before you use it but at the moment I'm trying with great sucsess (4 CANS) Clear Laquer Spray Paint Acrylic for Plastic Steel Wood Metal 500ml uv | eBay

That looks to be the same type of stuff I am using. Will try that when this old can runs out.

Suggest any clear laquer promoted by the Automotive industry these days is dead safe after all they pioneered non yellowing top coats for cars for so long now.Thanks for the heads up.

I tried automotive clear lacquer years ago never had any luck with it.
