Olive Pipe 3.jpg

Finally finished my Bethlehem wood latest E-Pipe.
My first turned bowl and shank.

New learner at turning. Turned the bowl no problem. 3/4" Forstner hole on the lathe for the battery.
Then Shank tapering from 3/4" to 7/8" with centre hole for wiring and connector.

Sideways holes in bowl for shank, switch and variable resistor pot adjustment.

Dremel internal platforms for PCB and pot, and channels for wires.
Wire it up, get battery to fit snugly and fire her up.
Learned a lot. Far from perfect, nut the next one should be better/easier

A few more pics now that my main cam battery is charged.
Maybe more of the flaws visible.
I'm also trying out my new (2ndhand) photostudio. Have a long way to go to get the colours right.
@ Vic Perrin Are you a smoker? I can advise re the atomiser/battery side of things. I'm sure you would enjoy making your own pipe

Fifty four years since I smoked but I have a project in mind with a carved pipe I bought from what is now a war zone in Europe.

Love your enthusiasm and design the workmanship is spot on a delightful piece mate.
