homemade gunmetal blank on a bolt action

Ok, I've turned my first bolt action pen today, and I really do like 'em. Good solid feeling pen, good quality plating and it's much more comfy in the hand than I thought it would be.
I need daylight for a better pic of the blank, as you can't see the silver swirls too well and what appears to be a white spot on the blank is actually metal flake . Will take another pic tomorrow methinks.

Well, the light outside has been crap today and I can't wait till next summer. So here goes. Have taken on purposely with the flash on to show the metal flake in there.
