Hi all as per the title....I was asked for a fountain pen in Horse chestnut.....I prefer it with the gun metal finish....

It can be a little soft, but go gently with Sharp tools and thin CA

This is a magnificent pen. Love the wood. Did you find the wood yourself and dry/treat it yourself, or was it a purchased blank. Being as there are a lot of horse chestnut trees in my area, i might give it a go as well.
