My poolewood has a weird one, so I'm probably irrelevant, but it's 1 1/2" x 6TPI

I standardised with 1 inch ten threads for years on my wood lathes commencing with Woodfast lathes then others some with 1/2 inch 25 threads.

Hi Dan my Nova has a 1 1/4" x 8 tpi the same with the Maxi 1 most record lathes like the CL and DML range have a 3/4" x 16 as do most of the budget lathes Clarks, Draper, SIP, and the likes I would say these are the common threads 3/4" x 16 and the 1" x 8tpi being the most common hope this helps mate

Hi Vic the Maxi 1 was a 1 1/4" x 8 TPI mate well when I had one it was but that's from memory which dose strange things nowadays LOL

Your right Woody had a senior moment I am getting old you know. I have changed the size on my post I have also found a chart done by Peter Child's that lists a load of sizes.

Woody Peters chart is right it lists 3/4 x 16 for Record lathes exept Maxi and Nova

I have a small one with a 1x8
And my wivamac is m33x3.5 but there are a couple of types of this thread
