As a society it seems we have still to learn how to live with this ‘instant’ media reportage. Its not really a new problem in one sense. Two hundred years ago there were worries about the new ‘newspapers’ and then look at the hysteria conjured up by the press barons in the earliest years of the twentieth century. One might think we would have learned a little since then, but perhaps not.
