I managed to get a nice little commission for this weekend, with hopefully more to come, things aren't going well. My customer wanted 2 x Omega Rollerballs & 2 x Zetas, all in gunmetal & all in the same corian blanks.

So I marked out the blanks 2 blanks for the Omegas and 1 for the Zetas, cut & drilled the Zetas then glued in the tubes, went in for a coffee.

Then back to the shed cut the Omega blanks, went to drill them, four halves of Omega blanks, all the same size, small cap ends oh *%$!

And I only had three of the blanks specifically for the commission.

I have one very understanding customer who is now happy to take 6 Zetas & 2 Omegas, so I have managed to increase my sales through my schoolboy error.

Now need to sort out the new blanks, will order plenty this time, must have a few spares, just in case :whistling::whistling:

Sounds like a cracking order Billy. Your order should be with you Monday. Looking forwards to seeing the results.

Tut tut Billy, fancy doing something like that. I mean it's not as if any of the rest of us would do something so daft :nonono:
Ohhhhhh yes we would. I did it last weekend :whistling::funny:

Take a guess
It's leaving off mid way through a job that I find does for you, by the time you start again you're not in the same mindset as before & errors occur, at least it paid dividends this time Billy :whistling:

Its not a mistake, just an opportunity. ( well if you believe that I guess you believe anything. Mind you it seems to sell 'business books' at airports)
