Resurrected the camera newly charged batteries (phew!). Here is my latest Huon Pine Burl pen, the pen rest is the same timber. Every stick of Huon turns differently, colour goes from whiteish to deep gold some I have was submerged in a river catchment for over a hundred years this stick came from a two thousand year old tree. A number of years ago they flooded a large number of trees and this is one. There are century old landing areas under water being resurrected now this is a valuable slow as growing timber. The pics show both sides. I also have some Huon that lay in dense mud for a long time that has changed to mud brown.

Kind regards Peter.:rolling:
