Hi all,

I have lurked on the forum for a long time but only just registered. Thought i better share some work!

The most recent pen i have made. Oak burl hybrid with white and silver resin on a gunmetal omega body (loving this kit at the moment).

Started turning about 8 months ago. Had previous experience but never my own lathe! I got a lot of advice from reading the threads on this forum which im very grateful for. The expertise of members here saved me a lot of head scratching! Haha

Thank you Chris. Yes I try to make them all myself now just so they are different. Definitely doesn't save any money though!

Picture below of the leftover section. This will likely find its way into a single section pen eventually.

You're right though, it certainly ain't cheaper. I too
like these kits.
