Just thinking about suppliers and realise that I am pretty lucky in as much that I have 4 woodturning related suppliers within a 20 minute drive from my house Stile and Bates, Penkitzandbitz, Axminster tools and Olivers Woodturning. And like many a phone call away from some great suppliers Like Dan and Phil.

As a UK series policeman says thats how it is,mind how you go. All of the most beautiful timber in Australia seems to grow in remote locations.One fortunate circumstance for me is the largest burl getter in Australia lives just a km down from me. He stashes the very best now at his place down the coast from here ready for his retirement.
