Hi all,
Yes I did it, I turned something other than a Leveche, whilst there is nothing wrong with a Leveche the customer wanted something else.... So here we have a gold Tempest with an Oak jacket.... Other than being very thin on the tubes I really like it... Two more to do, but I might treat myself to some more for Easter (eggs are overrated šŸ˜)

Nice how do you find the Tempest Mark?
As with all Phils kits, very well designed and made, great plating depth. The only problem I had was you have no room for errors when drilling the blanks... I resulted to going a drill bits/sizes under on the drill press and reaming out. The pre assembled click mech is a great touch and I just slipped a Leveche Bush over the button when I pushed it into the tube.....

I like that and the kit, generally I stay away from ballpoints as personal preference but I should have some as an option.

No... Most Oak I have, I have acquired as offcuts from someone who makes dog beds from wine casks... I never know what it's going to be like or turn like tbhšŸ¤”šŸ¤”
