Funny you should mention spirit level bubbles but did you also know that for some brands you can buy them Just type in "spirit level replacement bubbles" into a search engine

Yes Derek, I’ve bought them before. They were for target rifle front sights. They are very slightly radiused and used to prevent shooters canting the rifle. When new the fluid inside is yellow but gradually fades to clear.
