I tried just now thanks for the input especially the last two so far now to get the cow gum it turns out to be off the disk it is such a dreadful design the most of the stand has to be removed to get at it so I will use the same glue and 80 grit paper I have a lot of that on a roll. It came with a shearers disk I bought at a garage sale way back when has to be top stuff when shearers use it to sharpen their shearing combs.
